I'm running a Geforce 8600 gt in my computer and i have it hooked up to my tv using a S video adapter which is then connected to a AV jack in the back of my television. The television is not HD just a regular old color TV.
The problem I'm having is this. With windows drivers the screens output is the generic 800x600 in color which is acceptable to me except for the fact that since the nvidia graphics drivers are not installed im not allowed to take advantage of my video cards abilities and play any game with it. However once i install the graphics card's drivers i the receive a black and white display. I know my graphics card is capable of color it just refuses to display it with the drivers installed. does anyone know a sure fire solution to my problem? i've messed with all the settings i can think of and i have googled my brains out on the subject apparently this happens frequently to people. I'd really want to utilize my cards potential. If anyone can help me or need's more information ill be glad to provide it |
