I' d say X38 chipset. PCI 2.0 feature is nice innovation :-)

I think it is important for a chipset to have good long lasting compatibility/support and good drivers. Did you hear that nvidia?

If Intel had to work SLI into their configuration, they would be having problems too. Building a basic stable board is easy, it's building one that has EVERYTHING where your problems arise.

Which is best brand X38 mobo? i 'd say Asus P5E and Gigabyte EX38 - DS4...

I dont see any big difference in performance between P35 and X38 lol.

the best mobo i ever owned was a Foxconn, and seemed to be the best made too, Very Thick! heavy duty ,well organised infastructure

Heard that X38 is better than X48... google mobo X48 reviews... you will see. DDR III is way too expensive T_T
