I have an AGP FX5200 and a monitor with 1680x1050 resolution connected via DVI. I'm trying to get proper video playback quality.
VMR outputs work, but the quality is bad because of tearing. Overlay works otherwise, but when I'm trying to watch 16:9 material in full screen, the video is garbled. There are flashing lines all over the screen. When I narrow the size of the overlay to about 1500 pixels, the lines disappear. ![]() I've tried older drivers, too. Is it impossible to get 1680x1050 video overlay to work with FX5200? I wouldn't want to but a new AGP card any more. |
