Yea, you have an awsome board.
When I got the 780i, the 790i came out right after, I should have waited..
Had I got the 790i Ultra, I would not have upgraded to i7..

45nm Dual Cores (E8400 3.0GHZ), (E8500 3.16GHZ), (E8600 3.33GHZ) would'nt be bad either...
If you need to budget... Infact the E8600 would'nt need much of an overclock if even at all..

Alot of people on here will say the Dual Cores are better then the Quads..
Maybe worth looking into..

Wow i didnt know that most ppl prefer a dual core over a quad. My dual core sucks though so im not even close to impressed by it lol. And yeah that monitor seems to be very nice tons of inputs HDMI hybrid tv seems to fit with those 285's need cheers! And thank you for all the help i thank every who tried helping out to be honest i didnt think anyone was going to help but i was way to wrong about rhat one lol. Thank again!

Well, it helps to see both sides to get a better perspective, which is why recomended looking into Dual Cores,
Even though I am a Quad Core person... LOL...
I do own a few Dual Core's and I must say, they are OK, for what do..

Well for gta you like have to be a quad core person if you want to get anywhere with fram rates. Go rockstar! Lol well i have figured out what exactly im doing. I am buying the two GTX 285's and the Q9650 and ill overclock it to 4.28 ghz so i shouldnt have to worry about the processor bottlenecking the GPU's. And that monitor so i dont have to worry about the video cards bottlenecking on that and from here i think this computer will actually be a really good one insted of the slow thing it is now. woot.gif w00t.gif
