http://img18.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=img4356towermobo.jpg
this is the easiest way for me to post pictures at the moment. start from the bottom. the case was well packaged. no damage. very very big, well constructed all around. 4 thumb screws to remove each side panel 5 screws.....what's taht for......the pimp-ass mobo tray. that's what. only 7 pci slots. hmmmmm the classified box was definately packaged well. i felt like i was opening something worth the egregiously high price. all the parts are in sealed zip-lock bags, or bubble wrap. plus i got a certificate. to make me feel special. lol a teaser picture, what the mobo looks like just sitting there. -lycan -------------------- Bow to your sensei. You made no mention of benchmarks, just the assembly. Don't make me move it again... I'm already devoted to this rawhide.

well, just starting the build, and i'm already running into a problem. I need 6 6pin connectors......and well......they give me 5 6pin connectors, and an 8pin, that i had to cut....also, the modular 6pin connectors have a blue "8pin" end, that connects into the FOUR "blue 8pin" slots on the PSU. but wait lycan....you need SIX "6pin"s.
that is correct. i do. so what i have figured out is......all 4 "blue 8"s are filled. one 6pin+2 is a non modular cable. that's 5. here's where the cutting comes in. I have a "blue 8" 6 pin connector, but no "blue 8" slot for it to go into. There is an open 6pin slot. SOOOOOOO i flipped the "blue 8" around. well, that's the end i cut, and it went surprisingly well....thank god. ill just shut up and show you pictures. the connectors provided. ![]() the "black 6" that got flipped because i was out of "blue 8"s ![]() i don't have enough power captain ![]() you my friend, are about to become a rare and elusive "Blue 6" ![]() CRIKEY THIS IS DANGEROUS ![]() this is almost working. ![]() Almost free you little bugga ![]() POP GOES THE WEASEL ![]() ONE flaw so far.... ![]() THE EVEN MORE RARE AND EXOTIC "Black 2" ![]() -lycan not exactly ecstatic about this corsair PSU. the crap part is its a 1100W+ guaranteed PSU. so its worth the hassle. -------------------- Bow to your sensei.
